Black On Black On Black

Special s/o to Two Brothers Cafe in Aurora, IL! They have a variety of unique coffee, tea, and pastries! For those of you who live the gluten free life like me, Two Brothers Cafe even offers a flourless chocolate cake. Yes, it is delicious!

Many people get caught up in having to wear a specific colored shirt with a different colored pant, but who says you can’t wear all one color and focus on the fabrics?! Black is the perfect color to do this with. In this outfit I have an intricate, faux leather jacket (from YM Boutique), on top of a velvet mock turtle neck, paired with my favorite pair of high waisted, black jeans (also from the lovely YM Boutique).

Recreate this look all from H&M

Many of the items I am wearing in these pictures, I bought previous to starting this blog. However, I have found similar items at REALLY good prices to recreate this look!

  1. I love the black on black look, or any monochromatic ensemble with mixed textures. This is a look that any age, size or shape can wear with confidence. Best of luck with your blog!
